Living healthy is the art of living!

The real art is to live a simple life, be satisfied and happy, and not worry and be overwhelmed. That is not possible! Every day, we are burdened with unnecessary worries about making things better, earning even more, being more with the family, and finishing all our business obligations without getting tired. All this is stress for our organism, and it affects our health.

  1. Ensure a healthy and regulated diet

Prepare regular and varied meals daily that contain carbohydrates (fruits, vegetables, grains), proteins (dairy products, meat, eggs, legumes), and healthy fats (fish, nuts, seeds). When buying food, keep in mind that local and domestic food contains many more nutrients than those that have traveled several thousand kilometers. Unfortunately, no food can protect us from the virus. However, some foods significantly strengthen the immune system.

Among them, blueberries are in the first place. They are rich in anthocyanins, a type of flavonoid that affects the immune system.

Dark chocolate is an even better choice because it is rich in antioxidants that help strengthen the immune system and protect cells from free radicals. Be careful with consumption despite the numerous benefits, considering that chocolate is rich in calories and saturated fats. And we must not forget vegetables, especially spinach and broccoli, which contain a tiny “sea” of vitamins and minerals.

Water is the source of life and the indispensable fuel of our body. On average, we get 1000 ml of water from food during the day, but at least two more liters (35 ml per kilogram of body weight) are a must for normal functioning. Do you think you drink enough of it?

  1. Movement in nature

Sun invites us to spend as much time in nature as possible. It is an excellent opportunity to use it for family activities. In addition to socializing and enjoying each other’s company, there are many positive effects on health and strengthening the immune system. First, I would like to emphasize mental health, connected with family happiness, love, and the desire to be next to each other. Mental health is the basis for a fulfilled and healthy life.

Elsewhere, we can emphasize the benefits of staying and enjoying the fresh air. Regular physical activity slows down the release of stress hormones, which protect us from various diseases in the long run. We must be aware that stress is the most significant trouble for our immune system.

Research shows that physically active people are less likely to get an upper respiratory tract infection. And another interesting fact: regular moderate physical activity has an anti-inflammatory effect. From this, we can confirm that the exercises strengthen the immune system.

After all, years are not what counts in life, but life in years. – Abraham Lincoln

  1. Take care of hygiene

Viruses lurk at every turn, in the store, public transport, elevator, etc. Only when we get a viral infection, we realize that viruses are here. At the moment, all we have left is to wash our hands regularly and disinfect things that others touch before us. If we have a cold, we also have to do cough hygiene and wear a mask.

Take time for yourself every day. You must know how to return your body to balance and that you take a few moments for yourself every day. It doesn’t matter if it’s in the morning, during the day, or in the evening. Stop, think about your day and what you are grateful for. You don’t need much, do you?

Various diseases and epidemics caused by viruses warn us that we must take care of our good health. If you like to be updated, you can always check out American magazines and learn more about these matters.

Let this be a time for a change. Let each day correspond to a famous quote: Carpe diem! With a quality lifestyle, responsibility and love, we put ourselves and our loved ones in the foreground.
